Saw this bike at the recent Jap bike Show and thought it was awesome just the way it was.
Then I’m browsing the PSB thread about the show and I saw the above pic.
The Kawasaki Samurai was a class leading bike when released in 1967. The Kawasaki W1 (what the modern day W650 & W800 are modelled on) wasn’t selling as expected so Kawasaki went back to the drawing board and outgunned the competition, namely the Suzuki T250 Hustler, Honda Dream CB250 and Yamaha DS6.
A BIG thank you to HPM for giving me the pic and allowing me to showcase his amazing work. You can see more of his incredible photography here
WALLPAPER - Click here for a pic so massive you could print it and use it as actual wallpaper. You could print it on canvas if you could find canvas big enough.

“He keeps his kickstart in the bag. He stalled it at the start, his mate took the kicker out for him, he started it, put it back in the bag and pushed a 750 Norton up the hill, pure class….”

These photos are from the Albany Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Club Hillclimb event held on the weekend of the 5th & 6th November 2011. Thanks to Perth Cafe Racer - Allen Read - for the pics

^Fellow Perth Cafe racer “Boof” talks about his beautiful SR500 that he raced during the day..“That’s the pig that I left the fuel on for the entire hill climb, senility. 2 old blokes wanted to see it fire up. 200 F****g kicks later it spluttered into life and I crept out of the car park. Bitch!!!”

“Torinese engineer Salvatore Majorca created the revolutionary Moto Major straight after WWII. Apparently it was an engineering rather than styling exercise, but 60 years on, its shape is still breathtaking. The wheels, in particular, would not look out of place on many modern motorcycles.”
