Here is the imaginatively named “CS-2 Standard” from RYCA. The name might be boring but the bike certainly isn’t.
With a big single cylinder of 650cc capacity thumping out 30hp and a weight of 160kgs it should be the perfect city bike. Enough power to beat a lame Ninja 300 or single lung CBR250 of the line and around the corner.
A big long comfy seat will see a pillion jump on and then their feet tangled in the real wheel as I can’t see pillion pegs. There is a rack that you could strap a baby to though.
Yeh, I’d rock a RYCA, would you?

We’ve all seen the RYCA Cafe Racer kit built on the fugly Suzuki S40 Savage but did you know they also do a Street Tracker version? An even better use of the stock bike in my opinion.

Have you ever looked at a bike and said to yourself “JeeeeZUZ, that’s ugly!” only to see it again a few months later and think to yourself “meh, thats not so bad”.
No?
Ok, maybe it’s just me then.
(I believe I’m the only person on the planet that thinks that the Ducati 999 was better looking than it’s predecessor the 916 AND it’s successor the 1098.)

RYCA, that’s what I was talking about. When I first laid eyes on a RYCA cafe racer, I wanted to poke them with a blunt stick (but I didn’t as it would have meant the end of modelling career)
It’s been a while since I had checked out BikeEXIF so I thought I’d see what’s been going on in heaven while I’ve been busy. That’s when I see the RYCA Cafe Racer based on a Suzuki S40/Savage. “mmmm, that’s not so bad……”
Check out the customer builds on the RYCA site for a bunch more pics of what can be achieved for 6k. There are a few Barry Crockers but most are pretty good.
I quite like what Don Laroche of Florida did with his RYCA.
