It seems that the hot topic to debate at the moment is not pipewrap or firestone tyres but brown seats. Just like the aforementioned troll material, brown seats will suit some bikes and not others. This is not open for discussion, I am right…usually.
Geoff (a PCR member I have yet to ride with) posted a pic of what he calls the ultimate brown seat bike. Not sure I agree with that but I certainly wouldn’t be notifying the police if I woke up to find one in my garage.
The specs on this bike are unbelievable.
Based on a Ducati Sport 1000S from 2007, it uses a Ducati 1100 NCR engine that produces 116hp and with the help of titanium bolts and exhaust and BST carbon fibre wheels it ways in with a dry weight of 145kg. That’s less than most 250cc bikes!
Maybe the brown seat is there for camouflage…

I’ve seen this Ducati Monster bouncing around Facebook for the past few days but no one seems to have a link to the source. Anybody got any info?

I love it when something comes along and challenges my preconceptions.
Yesterday I posted a bike that had gulf colours. I mentioned that I disliked them…a lot.
Scrolling through Facebook and I see the bike above. It is simply beautiful.

The owner of this bike sent his 900ss to renown Ducati tuner and customiser Redmax in the UK. This is what came back. It really doesn’t get better than this.

On Tuesday 4th September 6 lads came into the Ducati Croydon (UK) showroom to try and steal 2 Ducati 1199 motorcycles. If you know who these people are please call. As you can see from the video they did not get away with anything. — at InMoto LTD.
