When I saw the message in my inbox from French outfit - Mad Bros Engineering asking me to check out their first build “Mad Max” I got a little bit excited. I was expecting some post apocolyptic bike similar to what we saw in the original cult movies. Something similar to Goose’s Kwaka would be awesome.

So what bike did they choose to customise for their first build?
With an engine dating back to the 80’s and secreting a measly 11hp having to push a bike that weighs as much as a Tasmanian bus driver it is only ever going to be slightly faster than a juiced up Lance Armstrong …on the run from his sponsors.

I reckon the boys at Mad Bros have a healthy sense of humour, you’d need to to ride this bike. I can’t help but think that like One Direction’s record label, the Mad Bros boys have taken a sub standard product and had a shot at making it palatable.

It isn’t a bike that Goose would ride but what about you, would you ride it?

Rough Crafts out of Taiwan built this beautiful murdered Harley Davidson in 2011
Their “Iron Guerilla” was such a hit that they decided to build a follow up with all the upgrades they could think of. The Bomb Runner has a different silhouette, higher rear shock with a tail section, drop down tank and short front forks, super aggressive lean forward look.

Which bike would Batman ride, the “Bomb Runner” by Rough Crafts or the abomination “Bat Bike” by OCC below?

Another show winner from one of our favourite Japanese custom shops Double Motor Works.
This beautiful custom is based on a Kawasaki W3 which was the inspiration for Kawasaki’s W650 and now W800

Recently I posted about Dorian who has collaborated with Garage Project Motorcycles with some design work.
Today I’d like to introduce you to David Belhassen of France. David contacted us after seeing Shaken Fist featured on the BikerMetric blog run by Trent Reker.
David’s command of the English language is average at best so whenever we chat on Facebook, we both give google translate a workout.
David is a sculptor that also happens to build motorcycles. His favourite medium to work with? Aluminium
David built this stunning Custom Triumph you can see here.
Stunning photography by Alban Montalbano (click on any of the images above for wallpaper size)

After seeing the above work of art (S’il vous plaît investir dans un bon appareil photo de David!) we are in discussions with David to have a unique one piece Aluminium tank and seat unit made for one of our CB750’s.

SPYCAM!
I have it on good authority that this is Casey Stoner’s 2012 Repsol Honda

Ok maybe not but it’ll probably still get more points on this than Randy de Putsitdownagian.
Check out the 80+ build pics on Grobo Robinsons Facebook page
