Went looking for something cool I saw a few days ago that I couldn’t get out of my head. I didn’t end up finding it but I did stumble upon these great pieces of art by Terry Bradley.

The tank at the top is called “Hold Fast” and was painted for a competition Harley held last year.

I wish more people got creative with their tanks.

People seemed to like the clean Harley bobber the other day so I present to you a very clean Harley Brat / Tracker.
Have you got some clean examples of Harleys you’d like to share?

It’s not often you see a Harley that has been cafe’d this well.
It’s not perfect though. Put smaller chrome clocks on it, lose the studs on the seat and the Vincent style logo on the tank and finally swap the “oooh so scary” skull for a Panda with guns and it would be perfect.

Josh said he wanted to cover his CX500 street tracker seat in red. I thought it’d look crap.
I was wrong.

When you think of custom Sporty’s, the last place you’d think about is Thailand unless of course you like ladyboys and then you’re probably trying to book your next flight there as you read this.

Anyway Aek isn’t a ladyboy (maybe he is I didn’t ask) but he is from Thailand. He sent me some pics of his Sportster which I absolutley love (the bike not the pics). Definitely one of my favourite Harleys ever.

And yes Aek, next time I’m in Thailand on “business” I expect to be shown the sights…

“Hi Rex,
I got this bike from stock Sportster Nightster not thing excited much as I see and bit boring with stock bike which look always the same, I decide to change to cafe style and scramble style as I have seen from Yamaha SR and Triumph, just want to make it more cool and different ;) ..HD was my dream when I was young. Just take about week to build and customized from Lek Service where we always visit with Rat friends and help to recommend.
If you have a chance to visit Thailand, for sure I can bring you to visit this place. I ride almost everyday, it depends. But it good to the traffic in downtown and weekend ride with friends ;) But if rainy season it’s terrible ;(
Aek Pollawat (Aek)”

“RACESTAR” - Harley Davidson Cafe Racer
All I know about this bike is it is a modified 1992 Sportster 883. Built in May 2012, it has a completely revised engine including 1200 kit, Mikuni carburetor, swing arm truss, twin front disc and it was painted by “FUN BIKE 32”

Make a small hugger and a few other mods to make it legal in Australia and that is one bike I’d love to build and more importantly ride!

I think this bike is for sale at 16,500 € (around AU$20,000)

Was checking out the pics from the recent Born Free 4 Motorcycle show and the quality of the bikes was outstanding. One in particular stood out - the new Sportster from Speed Merchant.

I’d ride the %$#@ out of that bike.

We’ve featured a few Speed Merchant bikes before so I thought I’d email Dan of SM and congratulate him on winning the “Best Modern” class with it. I go to my inbox and there is an email from Dan, how serendipitous!

^Notice the fork Preload Fork Adjusters.

Speed Merchant has manufactured these 39mm Fork Adjusters that are CNC machined out of 6061 aluminum with their usual precise craftsmanship, engineering and balance. With preload adjustment built into the fork caps, you no longer have to remove your old stock caps and cut spacers to adjust the preload on your 39mm front-end.With up to 7/8” adjustment you can just turn the adjuster up or down to fine tune the last bit of adjustment your suspension needs.

Fits: 87-94 FXR, 91-05 FXDL and FXD, and 88-up XL models
If you own a Harley and want it to handle you need these. From $140 they’re a bargain. Get onto it here. Once you’ve got them, you’ll need to know how to fit them.
