I put some new tyres on my bike and went for a tentative ride with Perth Cafe Racers.
A couple of weeks ago, Scott from Pipeburn saw a picture on my Instagram account of Craig’s Kawasaki KH500 and asked to be put in contact with him.
I said that Ryan from RSK Photography Perth was doing a photo shoot for a few Perth Cafe Racer members bikes and I’d send him the pics.
I won’t repeat the full story behind the bike as you can read that on Pipeburn.
Michael had a good week
Day 1 : Michael joins Perth Cafe Racers (PCR)
Day 2 : Michael comes to Reds Cafe, the PCR hangout and asks our opinion on the above bike.
Day 3 : Michael buys the bike - a schmick Honda GB250
Day 4 : Michael gets the bike registered
Day 5 : Michael asks “Should I change the seat and get the wheels powder coated?”
"…yes the SR carbie played up, it spewed oil over the engine because I didnt tighten the fucken filler, the headlight bolts vibrated loose and the seat bracket broke. God I love old bikes, you can stick the new ones fair up ya…….." - Bruce
"Bruce your SR must be straight from the Devil himself haha, but I am with you on the old bikes, wot fun they are =D" - Degan
^Some interaction between some of the Perth Cafe Racers. Mad bunch.
